Productivity, flexibility, and reliability are the fundamental elements of modern print production. An increase in all three is difficult to achieve, but White Pine has done it with the addition of an Esko-Graphics PlateDriver 8.
This computer to plate (CTP) device is fully automatic, holding as many as 500 plates in five different sizes on-line at all times. It is capable of producing 34 eight-page plates per hour unattended. As technology changes, so will the PlateDriver. The imaging laser is connected via a patented fiber optic bundle that makes for easy replacement or upgrading. The PlateDriver joins our other Esko-Graphic equipment that has proven to be extremely well made and reliable.
Our complete digital workflow is now fully integrated with the new PlateDriver, simplifying preflight, imposition, and many other prepress tasks thus increasing reliability and speed. Our continuing commitment to delivering better value has been greatly enhanced by CTP; value that we pass on to our customers every day.
